Jan. 26th, 2011 09:59 pm(I really need to ESSAY and put my thoughts in order. They make sense but they're too elaborate. I need 48-hour days.)
☑ Apologizing on behalf of the others. "You don't have to worry about it ♥."
There are still many more sources to be added but: Saiyuki v6ch23: "Always," pages 23-24; Saiyuki v6ch35: "Opposite," pages 5-6; Saiyuki Reload Blast v1ch1: "Squall," pages 20, 8.
What he remembers: Apologizing. Repeatedly. To strangers working at inns, bars, etc. Because of the mess/noise/ruckus/destruction his companions were making. He doesn't remember said companions, but he remembers having to apologize on their behalf.
What he thinks about it: He wonders why he traveled?/hung out with such troublesome people. They were pretty inconsiderate, after all... But he also remembers not minding it very much, and actual affection for them, and not feeling very sorry regardless of his apologies.
It's complicated and he's still in the dark about a lot of things, so he's mostly focusing on "politeness is important" and the effect of smiling on people for the time being.
